Somalia President Strongly Condemned The Killing Drector of Shabelle Media Network
Mogadishu (RBC) The president of the Republic of Somalia H. E Sharif Sh. Ahmed vigorously condemns and expresses grief and sorrow over the senseless murder of the prominent journalist Hassan Osman Abdi (Fantastic).
This is a terrible tragedy, both for Hassan’s family and for the journalist community in Somalia. “I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Hassan Osman” said president Sharif.
“I appeal to the public to assist the appropriate authorities investigating this case and to remain vigilant for those who are obstacle to peace and stability in this country; it has long been the strategy of groups like the Al-Shabab to target public figures in our society with the aim of spreading fear and panic.
We will not be intimidated or threatened by such odious acts” said president Sharif Sh. Ahmed.
The government will review security procedures and take all necessary measures to protect its citizens, particularly those who work in the interest of the public.

Everyone’s security is depends on how soon we establish peace on the Horn. The Somali Media ought to mobilize the public and the administrations to making real use and benefit from the London conference on Somalia. Mr. Andrew Mitchell expresses now the truth about the Horn according to the following the article with a comment of mine:
http://www.upi.com/Top_News/Special/2012/01/30/Somalia-breaking-down-official-warns/UPI-73151327948218/
“It is crucial that we tackle the underlying causes of these problems” by Andrew Mitchell, is exactly the point that leads to the right action if the IC is honest and serious about finding solutions to the miseries on the Horn. This is what I have been shouting loudly in the past thirty years or more, see the Roadmap (http://www.hornpeace.webs.com) for lasing justice, freedom and peace on the Horn region and an end to famine, piracy, terrorism, freedom struggles, refugees of opposite directions and more.
The underlying causes are the dividedness and the continued colonialism of the Somali Nation. The solution is mainly a two-step program: Re-unite the five Somali parts from the colonial division in a federal system with rotating presidency and prime minister, then create an “open common market” for the region (Federal Republic of the Somali Nation, Kenya and Ethiopia only since Djibouti becomes a state in the federal republic of Somalia) and that is it!
UK is the right nation that can and ought to take the right, just and courageous initiative for re-uniting the Somali Nation and establishing a Common Market for the region, since it is one of the truly responsible nations of the sufferings there for its colonial involvement.
