SOMALIA: Elman beats Horseed by 3-1
Mogadishu (RBC) Elman FC the defending champions of Somalia’s 2012 division A championship have defeated the Somali military-owned club Horseed by 3-1 on Monday. Yesterday’s match was the 4th match for both Elman and Horseed. Elman are leading the competition with 10 points while Horseed have only three points and it is the second lowest team in the tournament.
In the 4th minute of the first half Elman’s striker Mohamed Nur Sharkey scored the first goal, but in the 37th minute of the same half Abdi weli Mohamed Mahmoud have equalized, Only six minutes later that coincided with the 43rd minute of the same half Sharkey scored his second goal making the match 2-1 with Elman in the lead.
In the early minutes of the second half Horseed lost three free kick opportunities, but in the 50th minute of the second half National team and Elman FC striker Sa’ad Saleh Hussein scored the last goal for his team that compelled Horseed to lose all hopes.
However Monday’s match ended in 3-1 in favor of Elman FC.
