Sahafi draws with LLPP Jeenyo in Somali league second day
Mogadishu (RBC) As Somalia’s 2012 division one soccer championship enters its second day, the Sahafi FC drew with LLPP Jeenyo during Tuesday’s hotly-contested match which attracted the attention of a very large number of fans.
As soon as the match kicked off, both teams started attacking on each other’s goal with Sahafi FC losing a scoring chance in the early minutes of the match, but Jeenyo’s Nur Abbdi Mohyaddin scored the lone goal for his team in the 15th minute of the match.
Sahafi launched more attacks trying to compensate for the goal, but however the first half of the match ended in 1-0 with LLPP Jeenyo having the lead.
In the 53rd minute of the second half Striker Bile Mohyaddin Burale equalized with heading a beautiful ball into the opposite goal and the match ended in 1-1 equality.
According to the schedules Wednesday is a rest day with Heegan taking on Dekedaha FC on Thursday.
Only two yellow cards were given during Tuesday’s match.
