Somalia: Electoral commission delays parliamentary speaker’s election date
Mogadishu (RBC) the Somalia Electoral commission delays forthe parliamentary speaker election date and added two more days of a deadlinetime.
The Electoral committee announces that the election of the parliament speaker and his two deputies will take place on 28th ofthis month which is the deadline time.
It is expected to be held tomorrow, the 26th ofAugust as the electoral commission announced yesterday.
The election date is cancelled due to the remaining members of parliament.
Also there are differences about the completion of the remaining members as the technical committee rejected to accept the names of the previous warlords.
If the election of the speaker does not make an effect onthe preferred date it can even affect the presidential election.
