SOMALIA: Gunmen kill Somali MP in Mogadishu

Mogadishu (RBC) MP Mustaf Hajji Mohamed Abdullahi who is a member of the new Somalia parliamentarians was shot dead in Wabari district in Mogadishu on Saturday night (to night) by unknown gunmen.
Reports say that unknown gunmen armed with pistols shot dead the MP and escaped the scene while no one tracked them down.
The MP is said that he was the father of one of the former Somalia president’s wives (first Ladies) Sharif Shiekh Ahmed.
The reason behind the MP’s killing remains unknown and no group claimed the responsibility of the attack yet.
There has been planned attacks and assassinations in the past few days in Mogadishu linking to Al-shabab rebels.
