Tadamun Social Society (TASS) is a national of Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Non-profit, Private and Non-political organization that was established in 1992 and operating in Puntland. Tadamun Social Society was serving the Somali community for 18 years and possesses wide range experience on social development such as education, health, infrastructure, psychosocial, etc and relief such as working with IDPs and refugees. Tadamun Social Society’s main office is located in Bosaso of Bari region and has area offices in Garawe of Nugal region and Galkayo of Mudug region, outreach in Baran of Sanag region, Qardo of Karkar region, and Lasanod of Sool region.

JOB TITLE: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is required to work with youth groups and supervise the business entrepreneurship activities throughout the project implementation period. The monitoring and evaluation will report the project manager.

DUTY STATION: Bosasos/Garowe
DURATION: Six months ending June without extension

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise and monitor the on going activities through the implementation period
• Assess and identify professional needs/gaps of youth groups and provide professional support.
• Coordinate activities between the youth group, community, agency, and other stake holders.
• Write weekly and monthly report on the activities progression.
• And any other activity as be will directed by the JD

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum diploma in business administration or relevance educational qualification.
• Must read and write English and Somali language
• Can write comprehensive report
• Possess wide range of capacity building training on the said subject
• Must be 25 years and above in age
• Awareness and demonstrable knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation
• Demonstrable knowledge of working with youth groups
• Knowledge, skill, and experience in participatory methods for youth development.
• Group facilitation skills and experience.
• Coalition-building skills.
• One year of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation
